I’ll start off by saying I own 2x iterations of Speedland GS and also a Speedland GL-SVT. I thought those shoe were comfortable. I just put on a new pair of the Speedland RX LDVL and it was so comfortable I couldn’t pull out my credit card fast enough and order a second pair!! Yes I seriously just ordered a second pair so that 800-1000 miles from now I’ll have another pair waiting on me. I know the RX Sky is on preorder now and it might be the same exact shoe only it glows in the dark. I didn’t want to take a chance. I bought a second pair of LDVL. This shoe is that good! I’m a huge fan of M2C H1’s for how they feel on the road as well as the trail. This Speedland LDVL can easily replace the popular H1 as it feels equally ready for road and trail. $300? Sure but you get what you pay for. It came with stiff carbon plates as well. Race day I can turn this Super shoe into a Super Duper shoe!! Buy it now or forever live in regret!

This is my first speed land shoe. Usually a Nike guy. I bought 10.5 matching my other sizes; I was a little nervous they were too big but I actually enjoy the extra room. First time using carbon soles, they’re awesome. Much better using the shoe with them, than without. Love the boa. I do have a little concern with the small Velcro tab but whatever, it’s an outstanding shoe. I wear them all the time now. I’m 190, run about 10-15 miles a week right now.

Another home run by the speedland team! These have become my daily drivers for my weekday runs where I’m running from my house or office to the trails.

My shoe quiver used to be built up of Topo ultraventures and altra lone peaks. As I started to build up speed and trying higher efforts those shoes didn’t cut it for me any more they were far too floppy. Plus they only last 200 miles max.

I’ve worked through 700 miles on my last Speedland GL:PDXs can’t wait to see what these can take!

These fit great, the boa / Velcro makes a great combo for securing the foot and staying comfortable. Good traction

Best trail shoe yet. You can adjust on the fly. The boa is perfect. The heel strap 10/10. Carbon plate brings the energy. If you want a great ultra shoe. GET THEM
